HT 514 features a high-alloy perforated stainless steel core. The core is laminated on two sides with a high temperature-resistant facing material. HT 514 is designed for hot gas applications with extreme heat conditions. HT 514 survives where other materials fail to provide adequate service life. This laminate’s mechanical bond provides stability and integrity even when exposed to high heat, scrubbing, and vibration. The stainless steel core provides good recovery properties and load retention for long-term sealing performance. It also resists oxidation/corrosion in the harshest exhaust sealing environments. HT 514 is tan with a green tint.
