SB 915 is a high-value, solid core gasket sealing material. It features an OEM-quality, high-value, flexible graphite facing material chemically bonded to a solid carbon steel core offering strength and handleability in a wide variety of applications. With the graphite facing, this product features excellent sealing performance and conformability to flanges, in addition to temperature resistance. The graphite also provides thermal conductivity both through the thickness and the sheet direction. It also has natural lubricity, requiring no release agent or coating for thermal motion. Finished SB 915 has a smooth, shiny grey finish. It is easily cut with standard cutting methods.
