CS 253 is a high-value, metal-reinforced flexible graphite gasket material. This product is a laminate featuring OEM-quality graphite facing, bonded mechanically, without adhesives, to our rectangular style, Corseal tanged carbon steel core. This grade is well-suited for head, intake, and exhaust gaskets with narrow wall widths. It is also used for air-cooled engine head gasket applications. Finished CS 253 is a smooth graphite finish color with a slightly sheen finish. It is easily cut with standard cutting methods.
