Corseal 980 is a metal-reinforced anti-oxidant flexible graphite gasket material. This product is designed for performance with a quality graphite facing bonded mechanically to our rectangular style, Corseal tanged steel core. The graphite facing material is OEM-quality, proven flexible graphite featuring an anti-oxidant additive. This feature provides increased resistance to oxidation resulting in extended service life, up to 3X as long as standard graphite under the same conditions.

CS 980 is well-suited for cylinder head and exhaust gaskets with narrow wall widths due to the rectangular core pattern.

Outer Appearance

Finished CS 980 is black and shiny with a smooth graphite finish color with a smooth, slightly sheen finish. It is easily cut with standard cutting methods.
