Corseal 253 (CS 253) is a high-value, metal-reinforced flexible graphite gasket material. This product is a laminate featuring OEM-quality graphite facing. This material is bonded mechanically, without adhesives, to our rectangular style, "Corseal" tanged carbon steel core.
The Corseal 253 is well-suited for head, intake, and exhaust gaskets with narrow wall widths. It is also ideal for air-cooled engine head gasket applications.
Our CS 253 has a smooth graphite silver-gray surface with a slight sheen finish. It is easily cut with standard cutting methods.
