Our Code of Conduct

Metal Tech Industries

Metal Tech Industries was founded in May, 1994 and has always strived to conduct business in a responsible and ethical manner consistent with our Faith based beliefs. Over the course of history, several positive laws and regulations have passed which align with these fundamental beliefs. With this in mind, Metal Tech Industries has always and will always continue to perform due diligence for all of its products and processes to conform to the following policies:

Anti-Bribery

Metal Tech Industries will always conduct business in an honest and ethical manner. We have a zero-tolerance policy in regards to bribery and will conduct ourselves professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all of our dealings wherever we operate.

Conflict Materials

We at Metal Tech Industries strongly oppose human trafficking and the use of slave labor in any form. Therefore, we maintain our due diligence in an effort to conform to Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, and the Securities and Exchange Commission Rules adopted in connection therewith, which requires certain corporations to report the use of “Conflict Minerals” in the manufacture of their products. We will continue to work with all of our suppliers to ensure that we are able to identify and prevent the use of Conflict Minerals in our supply chain, and the representations made in this compliance statement remain accurate.

Generally, Conflict Minerals collectively refers to cassiterite, columbite-tantalite, gold, wolframite, or their derivatives, including tantalum, tin and tungsten, which originate from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or specified adjoining countries. Based on the information from our suppliers, we can in turn represent that, to the best of our knowledge, our manufactured products either do not contain Conflict Minerals, or to the extent they may, such products are “DRC conflict free” as defined by paragraph (e)(4) of Section 1502.

Environmental Policies

Metal Tech Industries believes in protecting the people who utilize our products as well as preserving the earth and its resources. Therefore, we continually perform our due diligence to conform to the environmental laws specifically listed below. Based on the information from our suppliers, we can in turn represent that, to the best of our knowledge, Metal Tech Industries continues to conform to these environmental laws:

  • The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65) - Some of the materials we use do contain one or more substances that are regulated. Those materials are declared to be present in the finished goods on the material certification that is included with each shipment.
  • Global Automotive Declarable Substance List (GADSL) requirements
  • RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU
  • REACH SVHC list (EC 1907/2006)
